Session Agreements & FAQ

What can I expect in my session?

RTB sessions typically last around 90 minutes. You can expect some assisted stretches similar to Yoga postures, and deep guided breathing to settle you into a state of relaxation. You may feel some light pressure and intensity, but you should always feel comfortable and safe. Please let me know about injuries and any physical discomfort you’re experiencing prior to and during our session.

I recommend allowing yourself some time after each session to be present with relaxation, , hydrate, and rest as needed. Each body is unique and the flow of each session compliments the recipients needs and present state.

This practice works for everyone, regardless of flexibility. I work with people of all gender identities and body types. Please let me know if you are pregnant, have high blood pressure, or have a chronic illness.

How do I prepare for my session?

Wear loose, comfortable clothing. Avoid eating a meal up to an hour before.
Creating an atmosphere of calm and peace is recommended: Lighting a candle, burning some incense and clearing the space of any clutter.
Please practice good hygiene for your sessions. Shower before and wear clean clothing.

Can I have my session in my home?

I do home visits, though dates and times may vary based on where you are. I work within the NYC and Hudson Valley area, mainly between NYC, Dutchess County, Ulster County, Putnam County, and Columbia County (up to Hudson). Feel free to reach out if you’re interested in a home visit!

How do I prepare my home for an in-home session?

I can easily set up in the comfort of your home. My needs are minimal: floor space roughly 7ft by 5ft, a Thai mat or thin foam mat (yoga mats are ok in a pinch), sheets, and a pillow.

COVID Safety Policy

Masks not required but encouraged, if fully vaccinated. For your comfort we can wear masks throughout the session, if you’d like.

I honor transparency and honesty about your health or potential exposure so we can both make informed decisions for our own well-being. Let me know if you have symptoms or suspect that you've been exposed to the virus and we may reschedule.

I am fully vaccinated and practice thorough hand-washing and sanitizing of any props. I change sheets and keep my station clean and ready for you.
If I'm coming to you, please have freshly cleaned sheets prepared, and try to avoid large gatherings and risking exposure leading up to our session.

Cancellation Policy

Each client is granted 1 free cancellation/rescheduling per month, with at least 24 hours notice given.

After that, each subsequent cancellation/rescheduling that month will be charged a $25 rebooking fee and a $50 deposit will be collected in order to complete a booking. This policy does not apply to cancellations made at least 72 hours in advance.

All cancellations/rescheduling made less than 24 hours in advance will be charged in full.

I travel between NYC and the Hudson Valley just for appointments, so this policy allows me to plan accordingly, respect my own and all my clients’ schedules, and provide high quality, consistent care. Thank you for understanding.
